East Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Age Limit

• Candidates must be at least 15 years old and not exceed 24 years of age as of January 1, 2025.
• Age relaxation is available for specific categories as follows:
  • SC/ST candidates: Relaxation of 5 years.
  • OBC candidates: Relaxation of 3 years.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD):
    • 10 years for UR candidates.
    • 13 years for OBC candidates.
    • 15 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • Ex-servicemen: Relaxation includes total military service plus 3 years, provided the candidate has completed at least six months of regular attested service.

• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed Matric/10th Class or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
  • They must also hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade:
    • National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), or
    • Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT/State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
