India Post GDS Recruitment 2025: Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
  
  Note: Age will be determined as of the last date of application submission. Relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable as follows:

Relaxations in Upper Age Limit:

• Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): No relaxation
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD) + OBC: 13 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD) + SC/ST: 15 years

India Post GDS Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification

• Secondary School Examination: Pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English from a recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India, State Governments, or Union Territories.
• Local Language Proficiency: The applicant should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard from a recognized board. Details of post-wise local language requirements are provided in Annexure-III.

Other Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer
• Knowledge of cycling
• Adequate means of livelihood

Required Documents for Online Application

• Mobile Number: To be verified through OTP.
• Email ID: To be verified through OTP.
• Aadhaar Number: If available.
• Educational Details: Information about the Board and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
• Scanned Photograph: In .jpg/.jpeg format, less than 50 kb.
• Scanned Signature: In .jpg/.jpeg format, less than 20 kb.

Steps to Apply for India Post GDS 2025

2. Register:
   • Click on the ‘Registration’ tab.
   • Enter your name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
   • Verify your email ID and mobile number through OTPs sent to them.

4. Complete the Application Form:
   • Fill in your personal, educational, and contact details.
5. Upload Documents:
   • Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and educational certificates in the prescribed format and size.
6. Pay Application Fee:
   • Complete the payment process online using UPI, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
7. Submit and Save:
   • Review all the entered information.
   • Submit the application form.
   • Save or print a copy of the application for future reference.
