Indian Army Recruitment 2025: 625 Group C Posts Available, Download DG EME Notification

Indian Army Recruitment 2025: Directorate General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (DG EME), Indian Army, has released an important notification for the recruitment of various Group C posts. This notification was published in the employment newspaper dated 28 December to 03 January. The recruitment is for positions in the Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Corps.

Candidates can submit their offline applications by 17 January 2024. A total of 625 vacancies are available for various posts, including Pharmacist, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Electrician, Engineering Equipment Mechanic, Fireman, Tradesman Mate, Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter, Armament Mechanic, Draughtsman Grade-II, Stenographer Grade-II, Machinist, and other skilled/unskilled positions like Fitter (Skilled), Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled), Upholster (Skilled), Moulder (Skilled), Welder (Skilled), and Civilian Motor Driver.

Indian Army Group C Educational Qualification 2025

1. Pharmacist:
   • Pass in 10+2
   • 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy
   • Registration with State Pharmacy Council
2. Electrician (Highly Skilled-I & II), Telecom Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II):
   • Pass in 10+2
   • Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the respective trade or grade
   • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
3. Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled Grade-II):
   • Pass in 10+2
   • Certificate from a recognized ITI in the motor mechanic trade
   • OR B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
   • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
4. Vehicle Mechanic (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) (Highly Skilled-II):
   • Pass in 10+2
   • Certificate from a recognized ITI in the Motor Mechanic trade
   • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
5. Armament Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II):
   • Pass in 10+2
   • Certificate from a recognized ITI in the Fitter trade
   • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
6. Draughtsman Grade-II:
   • Matric or equivalent
   • 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute
   • OR 2-year Diploma Certificate in Draughtsmanship (Mechanical) from ITI or equivalent
   • 3 years of experience in a reputed organization
7. Stenographer Grade-II:
   • Pass in 12th class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
   • Skill Test Norms:
     • Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 w.p.m
     • Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer
8. Machinist (Skilled):
   • ITI certificate from a recognized ITI in Machinist, Turner, Milwright, or Precision Grinder trade
   • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
9. Fitter (Skilled), Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled), Upholster (Skilled), Moulder (Skilled), Welder (Skilled):
   • ITI certificate from a recognized ITI in the respective trade
   • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
10. Vehicle Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (Skilled):
    • ITI certificate from a recognized ITI in the respective trade
    • OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade with minimum grade I
11. Storekeeper:
    • Pass in 12th class from a recognized Board or University
12. Lower Division Clerk:
    • Pass in 12th class from a recognized Board or University
    • Typing speed: 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on a computer
13. Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade):
    • Matriculation
    • Civilian Driving License for heavy vehicles
    • 2 years of experience driving such vehicles
14. Fire Engine Driver:
    • Matriculation pass or equivalent
    • At least 3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles
    • Valid driving license
    • Physically fit to perform strenuous duties

Indian Army Group C Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

• General/UR: 18–25 years
• Fire Engine Driver: 18–30 years
• Age relaxation is available as per central government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen.

Candidates should send their application in the prescribed format provided in the advertisement, along with a self-addressed envelope (size: 10.5 cm x 25 cm) with a postal stamp of Rs 5/-, properly sealed in an envelope. The application should be sent via ORDINARY POST to the address specified for the post applied for.
