Application Fees

The fee must be paid online. It includes the application fee and intimation charges.

Vacancy Details

The 162 vacancies are divided into two specific profiles. Please note that these vacancies are state-wise.

  • Development Assistant: 159 Posts
  • Development Assistant (Hindi): 03 Posts
  • Total: 162 Posts

Crucial Note: You can apply for ONLY ONE State and for ONLY ONE Post. If you apply for multiple states, your application may be rejected.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 01 January 2026)

Candidates must strictly fulfill the age and education requirements. If you do not meet these dates, you are not eligible.

1. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years
  • Birth Date Check: You must be born between 02 January 1991 and 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: +5 Years (Up to 40 years)
  • OBC: +3 Years (Up to 38 years)
  • PWBD: +10 to 15 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.

2. Educational Qualification

  • For Development Assistant:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc.) from a recognized University.
    • Marks: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (Pass class is enough for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen).
  • For Development Assistant (Hindi):
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi or English medium with Hindi/English as a compulsory or elective subject.
    • OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects.
    • Marks: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (Pass class for reserved categories).
    • Translation Skill: Must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa.

3. Computer Skills

Since the work involves digital data, knowledge of Word Processing on a Computer is mandatory.


Salary Structure & Allowances

The financial package is the biggest attraction of the NABARD Development Assistant post.

  • Pay Scale: ₹20,700 – ₹55,700
  • Basic Pay: ₹23,100/- (You get two advance increments at the start).
  • Gross Monthly Salary: Approximately ₹46,500/-.

    • Signature: Black ink on white paper.
    • Left Thumb Impression: Black or Blue ink on white paper.
