Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications from a recognized institute:

  • Matriculation (10th Pass) PLUS ITI in trades like Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV/Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, etc.
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile).
  • OR Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the engineering streams mentioned above.

2. Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years (Note: Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NCL is applicable).

3. Medical Standard

  • Standard A-1: Distance Vision 6/6, 6/6 without glasses. Must pass tests for Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, and Night Vision.

Application Fee

The fee is partially refundable after you appear for the First Stage CBT.

  • Gen/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after CBT-1)
  • SC/ST/Ex-SM/Female/Minorities: ₹250 (Full ₹250 refunded after CBT-1)

Selection Process

The recruitment involves five distinct stages:

  1. CBT-1: Screening test (75 questions, 60 mins).
  2. CBT-2: Two parts. Part A (Merit) and Part B (Trade qualifying).
  3. CBAT: Computer-Based Aptitude Test (Psychometric test).
  4. Document Verification (DV)
  5. Medical Examination
