Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised university established by law in India
- The graduation degree must be completed on or before the last date of application (18 June 2026)

UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026 – Selection Process
The complete selection process for UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026 has 3 stages:
Stage 1: PET-2025 Score-based Shortlisting (Already Completed)
Candidates are shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their normalised scores in UPSSSC PET-2025. The shortlisting is done post-wise and category-wise. Only PET-2025 qualified candidates with a valid Score Card are eligible.
No new preliminary exam is conducted — PET-2025 replaces the prelims stage entirely.
Stage 2: Main Written Examination
The Mains is the most important stage. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the Mains exam. This is a single written paper covering multiple subjects.
Stage 3: Document Verification 📋
