Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass: Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (Class 10) examination from a recognized board.
- Punjabi Language: It is compulsory for candidates to have passed Punjabi as a subject in Class 10th or its equivalent.
2. Age Limit (As of January 1, 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- General Category: 37 Years
- SC / BC (Punjab Residents): 42 Years
- State / Central Govt Employees: 45 Years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 47 Years

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection will be based on a Written Objective Type Test (MCQ) followed by document verification.
- Part-A (Punjabi Qualifying Test): 50 Questions (Matric Level). You must score at least 50% (25 marks) to qualify. Marks from this part are not added to the final merit.
- Part-B (Main Paper): Includes General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability, English, and History & Culture of Punjab. Final merit is based on this section.
