UPSSSC AGTA 2026 – Selection Process

The complete selection process has 3 stages:

Stage 1: PET-2025 Score-based Shortlisting (Already Completed)

  • Candidates are shortlisted for the Main Written Exam based on their normalised PET-2025 scores
  • Shortlisting is category-wise and post-wise
  • No new preliminary exam is conducted — PET-2025 replaces the prelims
  • Only candidates with valid PET-2025 Score Cards are eligible

Stage 2: Main Written Examination ✍️ (Key Stage)

  • The main exam determines the final merit rank
  • Single paper: 100 questions, 100 marks, 120 minutes
  • Covers Agriculture Science, Computer & IT, and UP General Knowledge
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
  • Final merit is prepared entirely based on Mains marks
